Fulfilling a dream

This had to be a load of fun.

Twins limp into break

After scoring 32 runs in a double-header sweep of the White Sox last Friday night, the Twins dropped the next two games of the series, blowing a chance to build a little momentum going into the All-Star break.

The Twins have had their troubles this year. First, they had to get Sidney Ponson and Ramon Ortiz out of the rotation. That took a couple of months and wasted a great deal of time. Now, they have a better crop of young pitchers who, admittedly, have been shaky, but who at least have potential to develop. The same couldn't be said for Ponson and Ortiz.
