Tucson

The condo in Tucson turned out to be every bit as nice or nicer than I had hoped. It has a great view of the mountains. Today is an unusual cloudy day in Tucson, so not the greatest for pictures.

Happy New Year

...for what it is worth.

I am useless at predictions, so it probably would be best for me not to make any.

The presidential race? I really don't have a clue.

The Twins? No prognosis there. That's why they play the season, so we can find out how they'll do.

Santana? I don't want to think about it. It makes me sad that he'll be gone. If Pohlad antes up and the Twins sign him, I would be ecstatic.

The economy? It will probably do just fine. Recession will still be on the horizon, as it always is.

Santa Fe

After spending an evening and overnight in Denver, during which time we met up with some acquaintances at a sushi restaurant, the effects of which I am still enduring, we headed down highway 25 to Santa Fe. I was thrilled to land a room at a fancy lodge up the mountainside for a very reasonable rate on Priceline.
