Deer on the pond

Looked out the window to see a family of three deer (all deer families are single-parent affairs) grazing the cattails just out the window. The twin fawns were generally well-coordinated, until they decided to go after the same patch of cattails.

Then things got tangled up for a bit as one fawn insisted upon eating cattails underneath and to the opposite side of its sibling. No hurt feelings, they both got enough to eat.

Meanwhile, mama deer was hyper-vigilant. I think she heard every click of the camera from the crow's nest.
