Leo and Bruna

Attended the wedding this weekend in Lakeville of Leo, who worked for me last year, and Bruna, another Brazilian exchange worker. I was the best man, my mother gave away Leo, and Lance was the photographer.

The pastor who officiated was American, but the church is a Brazilian church in Minneapolis. So, although the wedding was scheduled to start at five o'clock, when I expressed concern that it was twenty to six and people were still milling around like nothing was imminent, he said, "oh, nothing starts on time in Brazil." He was used to it. Things eventually got rolling, but in their own time.
